Chief Executive Officer, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing

Nicholas Aguzin was appointed CEO of Hong Kong Exchange and Clearing in 2021 to the surprise of several market observers. Prior to his current role he was CEO of J.P. Morgan’s International Private Bank. Between 1990 and 2005, he held various roles including Head of Investment Banking Division in Latin America and CEO of Latin America. He relocated to Hong Kong in 2012.

Andy heads NDN Group, the digital conglomerate that grew from a single online business when he founded the company in 2002 to a broad-based corporation whose portfolio includes nine companies ranging from B2B services to online multi-sided platforms. A serial entrepreneur, the CUHK graduate also co-founded YAS Digital Limited, a bitesize insurtech company, and founded big data analytics engine Klarity Analytics and mobile data company Hotmob.

Evan joined Animoca Brands, a HK-based unicorn blockchain technology and investment company, in April 2021 as an advisor before stepping into the role of Group President in October. The Kellogg School of Management alum is also a non-executive director of the city’s Urban Renewal Authority, and chairman of non-profit think tank Civic Exchange.
