CEO, The Hong Kong Jockey Club
A lifelong aficionado of horseracing and breeding thoroughbreds, Winfred Engelbrecht-Bresges serves as the CEO of The Hong Kong Jockey Club. He is concurrently Vice Chairman of the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities, the world’s highest racing authority, and a member of the Executive Council of the Asian Racing Federation. A man of many talents, the University of Cologne alum was appointed a Justice of Peace in 2009 and also oversaw the 2008 Olympics equestrian events.
Managing Director, Mergers & Acquisitions, Eu Yan Sang International
Previously a Mergers and Acquisitions associate in the private equity field, Richie Eu, a fifth generation scion of the owning family of Eu Yan Sang, joined the family business in 2013. The Babson College graduate was appointed the Managing Director of Mergers and Acquisitions last year, and he now oversees a range of M&A deals that can generate profit for the organisation. He hopes to make the business more accessible to younger generations.
