The visionary behind QQ and WeChat holds a degree in computer science from Shenzhen University and began his career as a programmer at paging service CMMobile. Tencent has invested in gaming, owning 40% of Epic Games, and has shares in Tesla Motors and Snapchat parent company, Snap.
Simon Ma
Contemporary artist and Chairman of DC Charity Foundation
Renowned Hong Kong-born artist, Simon Ma (otherwise known as Ma Xingwen) is one of China's most well-known and internationally acclaimed contemporary artists. He started practicing ink painting and calligraphy at the tender age of seven under the guidance of one of China’s top 50 art maestros, Fan Tzu Teng and went on to graduate from the Bartlett School of Architecture London. He is also Chairman of the newly established DC Charity Foundation.

The Philippines-born Canadian national sits on the Board of Overseers of her MBA alma mater, Columbia Business School, and is a former trustee of the SDYA (Siddha Yoga) Foundation in Hong Kong.

Since joining HSBC Group in 2005, Edward Moncreiffe has served various senior executive positions across the insurance field. Prior to moving to Hong Kong in 2016, he was Head of Life and Pensions for HSBC Brazil. Today, he oversees HSBC’s insurance business in Hong Kong and Macao, fulfilling his role as CEO of HSBC Insurance (Asia) Limited and HSBC Life (International) Limited. He also sits on the board of several other organisations. He holds a BA (Hons) from University of Durham, UK and a MBA from University of Chicago Booth School.
